Town Board Minutes September 27, 2023 MINUTES Special Town Council Meeting, Town of Massena Date/Time: Wednesday September 27, 2023, at 3:30 PM Location: Massena Town Hall LIVE-STREAMED ON FACEBOOK ATTENDANCE: MEMBER PRESENT ABSENT Supervisor Susan Bellor X Councilperson Deb Willer X Councilperson Francis Carvel X Councilperson Adrian Taraska X Councilwoman Pat Facteau X ALSO PRESENT: Brenda Mossow, Secretary/Bookkeeper; Dylan Casselman, Highway and Airport ,Sean Lynch, Deputy Town Clerk, Karen Johnston Deputy Town Clerk, Austyn Allen, IT, Members of the Press, Members of the Public The Supervisor opened the meeting at 3:30 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance 2024 Budget:  The Deputy Town Clerk Acknowledges receipt of the Tentative 2024 Budget on September 27, 2023 at 3:30 PM.  The tentative Budget was presented to the Town Board.  Supervisor Bellor presented the Budget Review Schedule. Budget Review Schedule:  The Preliminary budget will be presented at the October 18, 2023, Board Meeting. Departments will be notified if changes happen before the Final Budget.  The Final Budget will be accepted in November 2023. Resolution 182 - 2023 Approval from the Town Board to change the Monthly Meetings to 4:30 PM from 5:30 PM. Resolution 183 - 2023 Approval from the Town Board to advertise for a Court Security Attendant. This is a part-time position for the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month during Court Hours. Applicants must pass drug/alcohol screening.
