JOINT REVIEW BOARD MINUTES
January 14, 2025 at 4:00 PM
303 Mansion Street Mauston, WI
1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The Joint Review Board was called to order on Tuesday, January 14,
2025, at 4:07 pm in the Council Chambers of Mauston City Hall by Administrator Daron Haugh.
Present were Western Technical College representative Christina Heit (who appeared by phone),
Mauston School District representative Sue Goyette, Member at Large Leonard Kluge, and City of
Mauston representative Administrator Daron Haugh. Absent was Juneau County representative
Denise Giebel. Also present was Josh Low from Ehlers and Deputy Clerk Nicole Lyddy.
2. Minutes: Kluge/Goyette approved the minutes of September 4, 2024. Motion carried
unanimously.
3. Appointments (as needed): None
4. Review responsibilities of the Joint Review Board: Josh Lowe reviewed the responsibilities with
the board.
5. Review and discuss the draft Project Plan for TID No. 5: Josh Lowe went over the project plan
in detail. The city anticipates financing Utility Extensions and Property Acquisition in
2025. Current increments and projected development are sufficient to fund these projects. The
project goal will result in new commercial development opportunities.
6. Set next meeting date to consider approval of TID No. 5: It was decided that January 28, 2025,
at 11 am for the next meeting.
7. Adjourn: Haugh/Goyette to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously at 4:28 pm.

governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred
to above in this notice.
