COMMITTEE MINUTES
September 17, 2024 at 5:00 PM
1260 North Road, Mauston, WI
1. Call to Order/Roll Call - The Health, Welfare, and Sustainability Committee met on Tuesday,
September 17, 2024, at the Public Works Building at 1260 North Road. Administrator Daron
Haugh called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Barb Hoilien and Donna McGinley were present.
Absent was Mary Bender. Administrator Daron Haugh and Deputy Clerk Nicole Lyddy were also
present.
2. Appointment of Chair - The motion was made by McGinley, and seconded by Hoilien to appoint
Hoilien as Chair. Motion carried.
3. Appointment of Secretary - The motion was made by Hoilien and seconded by McGinley to
appoint McGinley as Secretary. Motion carried.
4. Minutes - The motion was made by Hoilien and seconded by McGinley to approve the May 8,
2023 minutes. Motion carried.
5. Closed Session - The motion was made by McGinley and seconded by Hoilien to go into Closed
Session pursuant to Wisconsin State Statute 19.85(1)(e) for Taxi Proposals. Motion carried at
5:02 pm.
6. Reconvene in Open Session - The motion was made by McGinley and seconded by Hoilien to go
into open session. Motion carried at 5:19 pm.
7. Result of Closed Session Matters - No action taken
8. Adjourn - The motion was made by McGinley and seconded by Hoilien to adjourn. Motion carried
at 5:19 pm.
