ORDINANCE, LICENSES, AND PERMITS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 24, 2026 at 6:20 PM 303 Mansion Street Mauston, WI 1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The Ordinance, Licenses and Permits Committee meeting was called to order on February 24, 2026, at 6:20 p.m. by Chair Jim Allaby. Present were Jim Allaby and Leanna Hagen. Also present were City Administrator Daron Haugh and Deputy Clerk Carole Wolff. Absent was Vivian Gabower. 2. Minutes: Motion by Hagen, seconded by Allaby, to approve the minutes of November 25, 2025. Motion carried by voice vote. 3. Change of Agent a. Burton-Koppang American Legion Post 81: Motion by Hagen, seconded by Allaby, to recommend Council approval of change of agent. Motion carried by voice vote. b. Festival: Motion by Allaby, seconded by Hagen, to recommend Council approval of change of agent. Motion carried by voice vote. 4. Proposed Ordinance Changes Reducing Violation Notice Periods and Allowing Immediate Enforcement for Snow Removal: Motion by Hagen, seconded by Allaby, to recommend revising Ordinance Sec. 32.2 by reducing the regular abatement period to 48 hours and snow removal abatement period to 24 hours. Motion carried by voice vote. 5. Adjourn: Motion by Hagen, seconded by Allaby, to adjourn. Motion carried by voice vote.
