PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MINUTES
May 13, 2025 at 6:10 PM

1. Call to Order/Roll Call: The Public Works Committee was called to order on Tuesday, May 13,
2025, at 6:10 p.m. by member Rick Noe. Attending members included Kayla Thomas, Rick Noe,
and Mary Bender. Director of Public Works Rob Nelson, Mayor Darryl Teske, Administrator Daron
Haugh, and Accounting Assistant Sadie Ravenscroft were also present.
2. Minutes: Motion made by Thomas, seconded by Noe, to approve the minutes of April 22, 2025.
Motion carried.
3. ATC Transmission Guying easement: Motion made by Bender, seconded by Thomas, to
recommend council approve the ATC Guying easement. Motion carried.
4. Director of Public Works: Nelson provided an update on the EPA request to identify lead pipes
attached to water meters. All Mauston residents received letters asking for confirmation of the type
of pipe connecting to their water meters.
5. Adjourn: Motion made by Thomas, seconded by Noe, to adjourn. Motion carried at 6:19 p.m.
