OFFICIAL COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Menomonie, Dunn County, Wisconsin, was held in open
session on March 2, 2023 and called to order by Mayor Knaack at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
The following members were present: Chase, Sutherland, Yonko, McCullough, Schwebs, Solberg, Erdman,
and Sommerfeld. Burstad was absent.
PUBLIC COMMENTS – No public comments.
MOTION to convene in closed session under Wisconsin Statues 19.85(1) (c), for the purpose of considering
employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which
the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility was made by Chase, seconded by
Solberg, and carried unanimously on a roll call vote.
MOTION to reconvene in open session under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85 (2) was made by Erdman, seconded by
Solberg, and carried unanimously on a roll call vote.
MOTION to authorize Public Administration Associates, LLC to negotiate an employment contract with the selected
candidate made by Yonko, seconded by Schwebs and carried unanimously.
Motion to adjourn was made by Erdman, seconded by McCullough and carried.

discuss/consider offer of employment and compensation for City Administrator position.

A. Motion to reconvene in open session under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85 (2).
B. City may take action on items under discussion in closed session and/or report action taken in
closed session, if any.
B.1. Discuss/consider interviews of identified finalists for the position of City Administrator
and discuss/consider offer of employment and compensation for City Administrator
position.
