Village Board Special Meeting Wednesday October 19, 2022 1142 The Village Board met Wednesday October 19, 2022 via zoom and in person @ 7:00p.m., with Margaret Young, Jordan Powell, Sally Madsen, Chris Wruck, Jane Fehrman, Superintendent Chris Danielson, Clerk Penny Danielson, and Deputy Clerk Chrystal Fitzmaurice 1. President Young called the meeting to order @ 7 p.m. 2. President Young certified the open meeting law requirements have been met. 3. Roll Call was taken by President Young. 4. Mill Street Sewer Service Agreement: Preliminary Design –Moved by Wruck seconded by Powell to approve the MSA Preliminary Design Proposal in the amount of $12,350.00 to be paid out if ARPA funds. Carried 5. Hydro gate repair-Moved by Powell, seconded by Fehrman to approve the estimate from Staab Construction for $5,900.00 for repair of the seal at the Hydro to be paid out of ARPA funds. Carried 6. Shop Cameras: moved by Powell, seconded by Madsen to approve the Shop Camera install quote from Computer Guts not to exceed $2000.00. Wruck abstained, Carried. 7. Alma Center Community Fire District- Moved by Madsen, seconded by Fehrman to approve the Village of Merrillan to join the Alma Center Community Fire District. Carried 8. 2023 General Budget review –General Budget was reviewed 9. Moved by Powell, seconded by Fehrman to adjourn @ 7:46 p.m. Carried Respectfully submitted, Penny Danielson, Clerk 10/20/2022
