MICHIGAN CITY POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES September 14, 2017 The Police Civil Service Commission of Michigan City, Indiana, held its special monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 14, 2017 in the Police Commission office located at 1201 E. Michigan Blvd., Michigan City, Indiana. DETERMINATION OF QUORUM - A quorum was present to conduct business. CALL TO ORDER - Commissioner Michael Palmer called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS - Present: Commissioners Michael Palmer, Michael Buda, John Pliske and Chief Of Police Mark Swistek. The special meeting was called to review two (2) completed backgrounds. Motion was made by Commissioner Buda and seconded by Commissioner Pliske to offer applicant Angelo Davenport a Conditional Offer of Employment. On a voice vote of three (3) ayes and no (0) nays the motion carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Buda and seconded by Commissioner Pliske to offer applicant Adriean Williams a Conditional Offer of Employment. On a voice vote of three (3) ayes and no (0) nays the motion carried. Having no other business the meeting adjourned at 8:21 am on a motion by Commissioner Pliske and seconded by Commissioner Buda.
