In attendance: Richard Pelletier, Grady Faulkner, Linda Salafia, John Rumberger, Shanay Fulton, Harvey Cushing, Susan Owens, Gerald Daley Staff in attendance: Brian Gartner, & Hilda Santiago, ECD Staff 1. Call to Order: Chairman R. Pelletier called the meeting to order at 7:10pm. 2. Public Comment: None 3. Approval of the Minutes: Minutes of the July 19th meeting were tabled due to the lack of quorum at meeting start. 4. New Business A. Revised Allocation Recommendations for CDBG 2023 Program Year – Staff explains to the committee that due to HUD providing the PY23 allocation data in an untimely fashion the suggested allocations for PY23 were based upon the PY22 award amount. The PY22 award amount was $489,000. The PY23 award amount is $502,576. The difference between the PY22, & PY23 amounts is $13,576. HUD requires the entire grant to be programmed as part of the submission of the AAP. Motion made by Gerald Daley to move approval on the suggested revised allocations for PY23 with the following amendment. The proposed revised allocation for Magic School Bus exceeds their initial ask. If that is not allowable per HUD regulations the $576 in excess of their original ask will be allocated to the CRT Meals on Wheels program. PREV.
