SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MIDDLETOWN MINUTES A special meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Middletown was held in the Conference Room at 40 Broad Street on Monday, November 18, 2024. Chairman Cacciola called the meeting to order at 5:10PM PRESENT: Phil Cacciola, Chairman, Al Santostefano, Vice Chairman, Larry Riley, Commissioner. ALSO PRESENT: Marie Webster, Assistant Executive Director (Acting Director), Jason Lewellyn, Esq.; Mr. Rick Leco, Main Sail Co; Michelle McNeil, HR Consultant, and Candidate. PUBLIC SESSION: No one was present or spoke during Public Sesson. On a motion by Vice Chairman Santostefano and seconded by Commissioner Riley the Board voted unanimously to go into Executive Sesson to discuss personnel matters. Mr. Leco, Ms. McNeil, Attorney Lewellyn and the candidate were requested to remain. At 6:34PM Executive Session concluded. On a motion by Vice Chairman Santostefano and seconded by Commissioner Riley it was voted to allow Mr. Leco and Chairman Cacciola to engage in negotiations with a potential candidate. On a motion by Vice Chairman Santostefano and seconded by Commissioner Riley it was voted to allow Chairman Cacciola to make an offer to the candidate pending negotiations. On a motion by Vice Chairman Santostefano and seconded by Commissioner Riley it was unanimously voted to adjourn at 6:36PM.
