Attendance: Councilman Sebastian Giuliano, Veterans: Larry Riley and Phil Cacciola, Carl Rodenhizer,
Chief Real Estate Officer Columbus House, and Vinnie Loffredo, community member
Absent: Atty. Ralph Wilson (Meeting conflict)
Meeting called to order at 5 p. m. by Vice Chair Larry Riley
Approval of Minutes of Wednesday June 19, 2019
Public Session: No members of the public attended.
Old Business: None
New Business:
Lengthy discussion regarding the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines Fund and the denial of a request for $50.00
rental assistance by the fund administrator for a veteran resident of Shepherd Home. Reason given for
the denial : “We cannot assist with rent at a not for profit.”
Transportation: MAT bus service still being worked on.
Review of Tenant Demographics: Building is at full capacity – 32 apartments rented. There is a waiting
list.
Discussion of Tenant or building issues: Some lighting issues that Carl Rodenhizer will follow up on.
Adjournment: 6 p. m.
