Shepherd Home Advisory Committee MINUTES September 8, 2021 Those present: Deputy Mayor Vinnie Loffredo, Veteran Larry Riley, Col. Phil Cacciola, Retired (chairperson); Atty. Seb Giuliano, Atty. Ralph Wilson, Carl Rodenhizer, Columbus House; Christine Garriga, Property Manager Occupancy Christine reports that we still have four vacancies. She has veterans applying for the slots, but we still have problems presenting full applications that can be vetted and transferred to the housing authority’ Members questioned one occupancy due to their full-time status which was forcing them to leave the unit. Seb wanted to know what we are up against here and what exceptions we might apply. Health Middlesex Health is planning on opening their clinic on site in October, one day a month. Building issues Approval for the roof replacement is in process. Technical difficulties We had difficulties again with hybrid video conferencing with some members online and others at Shepherd.
