Shade Tree Commission

Village of Millbrook, NY Shade Tree Commission April 16, 2024 Village Hall Present: Mike Herzog (chair), Kevin McGrane, Ceil Collopy and Eldar Shuminov (secretary). Quorum established. Old Business 1- Mike Herzog motioned to approve the minutes with corrections from March 18, 2024, seconded by Ceil Collopy and passed unanimously. 2- Discussed details and plans for Arbor Day. Mike Herzog motioned to plant a tree on Arbor Day, seconded by Ceil Colliopy and passed unanimously . 3- Discussed trees inspected for removal. 4- Discussed purchase of trees from Adams for Spring Planting in locations other than Franklin Ave. 5- Discussed and planned for Deep Roots Direct to be the provider of trees for Franklin ave. and Millbrook Gardens to plant those trees on Franklin Ave. Set next meeting for Sept 9, 2024.
