Special Meeting
The City Council of Millcreek, Utah, met in a special public meeting on June 16, 2025, at City
Hall, located at 1330 E. Chambers Avenue, Millcreek, UT 84106. The meeting was recorded for
the City's website and had an option for online public coinment.

SPECIAL MEETING - 5:00 p.m.
TIME COMMENCED: 5:00 p.m.
Mayor Silvestrini called the meeting to order.
1. Discussion and Consideration of Ordinance 25-25, Determining the Rate of Tax and
Levying Taxes Upon All Real and Personal Property within Millcreek (the Resulting
Tax is the Same Amount of Tax Previously Collected by Millcreek and Will Not Result
in a Tax Increase to Residents of Millcreek) for the Tax Year Beginning July 1, 2025 and
Ending June 30, 2026
Mayor Silvestrini said the certified tax rate,.001267, was reported to Millcreek by Salt Lake
County. The tax rate reflects no tax increase for the city and would result in certified tax
revenue to pay for Unified Police in the amount of $11,903,559.
Council Member DeSirant moved to approve Ordinance 25-25. Council Member Jackson
seconded. The Deputy Recorder caned for the vote. Council Member Catten voted yes,
Council Member DeSirant voted yes, Council Member Jackson voted yes, Councn Member
Uipi voted yes, and Mayor Silvestrini voted yes. The motion passed iuianimously.
ADJOURNED: Council Member Jackson moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:03 p.m.

passed unanimously.
