ment with the County of Nassau pertaining to the installation of HVAC ductwork at the
Mineola Memorial Library and that the Mayor is authorized to sign the Intermunicipal Agree-
ment on behalf of the Village; and it is further

2025, discussed property maintenance, stated that his department will be conducting property
inspections to ensure compliance and discussed the strict requirements for residential pools.

Mayor Paul A. Pereira announced that the two-day food truck festival will be held on May 17
and May 18, stated that pool season and summer recreation are approaching, and discussed the
importance and enforcement of property maintenance. Mayor Pereira added that a Farmers
Market will be held, in conjunction with NYU Langone, about every other week on Thursdays
beginning on June 12, reiterated upcoming events, including the food truck festival, Sounds on
Second Street concert, the pool opening, an arts festival in June and our Concerts in the Park
series. Mayor Pereira encouraged residents to support local businesses and discussed the
scavenger hunt being organized leading up to our Nostalgia Festival.
Deputy Mayor Janine Sartori stated that the Memorial Day parade will be held on Monday,
May 26 at 11:00 AM, announced that the Mineola Athletic Association will hold a movie night
with a showing of “The Sandlot” on Friday, May 23, reminded residents to get their pool passes
and to register their children for the summer recreation program.
Trustee Paul S. Cusato wished residents a happy Mother’s Day.
Trustee Jeffrey M. Clark discussed recent car break ins and reminded residents to lock their
car doors and to call the police if they do have a break in.
Trustee Donna M. Solosky announced that the first Sounds on Second Street will be held on
Friday, May 23 at 7:30 PM.
