Box 387 Mineral Wells, Texas 76068 NOTICE OF MEETING - March 27, 2020 The Palo Pinto County Municipal Water District No. 1 Board of Directors will hold a Special Meeting at 12:00 P.M., on Friday, March 27, 2020. On March 13, 2020, the Governor of Texas issued a Proclamation certifying that the COVID-19 pandemic poses an imminent threat of disaster and declaring a state of disaster for all counties in Texas. Thereafter pursuant to such Proclamation and in accordance with the Texas Disaster Act of 1975, the Governor of Texas temporarily suspended various provisions of Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, as amended , regarding the conduct of meetings of governmental entities effective as of March 16, 2020 . Pursuant to such Proclamation and temporary suspension , the Special Meeting will be conducted by toll-free telephone conference call. All members of the public may participate by calling (408) 418-9388, access code 966-759-036. The Board will consider the following agenda: I. Call to Order. II. Discuss/Considerrrake action on a Resolution to proceed with the Brazos River Pipeline Crossing Project, delegating authority to the Board President to engage consultants, solicit construction bids, and authorizing related activities. Il l. The Board of Directors will hold an Executive Session, in which, pursuant to Section 551 .072 of the Texas Government Code, the Board will discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property. IV. Reconvene into open session, take action resulting from closed Executive Session. V. Discuss/Considerrrake action on a Resolution declaring certain property in Palo Pinto Cou nty to be surplus, authorizing the sale of such property, delegating authority to the Board President to close the sale, and authorizing related activities ..
