Box 387 Mineral Wells, Texas 76068 NOTICE OF MEETING – JULY 9, 2020 The Palo Pinto County Municipal Water District No. 1 Board of Directors will hold a Special Meeting at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2020. On March 13, 2020, the Governor of Texas issued a Proclamation certifying that The COVID-19 pandemic poses an imminent threat of disaster and declaring a state of disaster for all counties in Texas. Thereafter, pursuant to such Proclamation and in accordance with the Texas Disaster Act of 1975, the Governor of Texas temporarily suspended various provisions of Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, regarding the conduct of meetings of governmental entities as of March 16, 2020. Pursuant to such Proclamation and temporary suspension, the Special Meeting will be conducted by toll-free telephone conference call. All members of the public may participate by calling (408) 418-9388, access code: 146 322 7094 The Board will consider the following agenda: I. Call to Order. II. Discuss/Consider/Take action to approve the minutes of the January 31, 2020 and March 27, 2020 meetings of the Board of Directors. III. Discuss/Consider/Take action on financial statement for the fiscal year to date June 30, 2020. IV. Discuss/Consider/Take action on a Resolution to select a contractor for the Brazos River Pipeline Crossing Project, delegating authority to the Board President to enter into a contract with the lowest qualified bidder, Mountain Creek Cascade of Texas, and authorizing related activities. V. Discuss/Consider/Take action on a Resolution delegating authority to the Board President to authorize District Staff, in conjunction with HDR Engineering, Inc., to issue a request for proposals for brush management services for the Turkey Peak Reservoir, delegating authority to the Board President to engage consultants, solicit bids, and authorizing related activities. VI. The Board of Directors will hold an Executive Session, in which, pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the Board will consult with the District’s attorneys regarding pending or contemplated litigation and / or other matters under that Section. VII. Reconvene into open session, take action resulting from closed Executive Session. VIII. The Board of Directors will hold an Executive Session, in which, pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code, the Board will discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property. IX. Reconvene into open session, take action resulting from closed Executive Session. X.
