Others Present: City Manager, City Clerk, City Clerk Secretary, City Attorney, Assistant City Attorney, Finance Director, Airport Director, Airport Operations Supervisor, Airport Engineers, and Alderman Miller and Mayor Zimbelman. To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the recommendations from the Airport Committee meeting called to order at 4:15 p.m., June 25, 2012: General Information Dave Clark, Carol Coover, and Edward Balkin, representing Coover-Clark, presented the Minot International Airport schematic design for the new passenger terminal. The representatives answered questions regarding snow removal and storage, parking and rental car areas, roof shape and snow drifts, and also options for future expansion. They also provided options on uses for the existing terminal. The representatives provided a cost estimate of $39 million for the new terminal which would include 4 jetways initially, with the option to expand up to a total of 6 jetways. They noted the cost estimate did not include the costs for passenger bridges, baggage handling system, or flight boards.
