July 24, 2012 MINOT CITY COUNCIL - SPECIAL MEETING ROLL CALL Members Present: Connole, Frey, Hatlelid, Jantzer, Knudsvig, Krabseth, Lehner, B. Miller, M. Miller, Moen, Seymour, Withus. Members Absent: Frantsvog, Olson. Mayor Curt Zimbelman presiding. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Zimbelman led the City Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. AWARD OF BID – FBO HANGAR – SITE PREPARATION AND WATERMAIN EXTENSION – APPROVED Alderman Hatlelid moved that the City Council declare the bid by Kemper Construction for the FBO hangar watermain extension in the amount of $108,00 and the bid by Bechtold Paving for the FBO hangar ground site preparation in the amount of $298,978.75 to be the lowest and best bids received; further, approve and engineering services contract with Kadrmas, Lee, and Jackson in the amount of $85,200 for the FBO hangar site; and further, authorize the Mayor to sign the contracts on the City’s behalf. Motion seconded by Alderman B. Miler and carried by the following roll call vote: ayes: Connole, Frey, Hatlelid, Jantzer, Knudsvig, Krabseth, Lehner, B. Miller, M. Miller, Moen, Seymour, Withus. nays: none. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Alderman B. Miller moved that the meeting be adjourned.
