March 26, 2014 MINOT CITY COUNCIL – SCHEDULED MEETING – 12:00 P.M. ROLL CALL Members Present: Frantsvog, Frey, Hatlelid, Jantzer, Knudsvig Lehner, B. Miller, M. Miller, Moen, Olson, Withus. Members Absent: Connole, Krabseth, Seymour, Mayor Zimbleman Council President Hatlelid presiding. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Council President Hatlelid led the City Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. ORDINANCE NO. 4823 - AMENDING CHAPTER 28 ½ (TAXATION), ARTICLE IV (CITY SALES TAX), SECTION 28 ½ - 101, SECTION 28 ½ - 102, and SECTION 28 ½ - 106 OF THE MINOT CODE OF ORDINANCES – FIRST READING - APPROVED Alderman B. Miller moved to place Ordinance No. 4823 on first reading, Amending Chapter 28 ½ (Taxation), Article IV (City Sales Tax), Section 28 ½ - 101, Section 28 ½ - 102, and Section 28 ½ - 106 of the Minot Code of Ordinances. Motion seconded by Alderman Jantzer and carried unanimously. Alderman B. Miller moved to pass Ordinance No. 4823 on first reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Jantzer, and was carried by the following roll call votes: ayes: Frantsvog, Frey, Hatlelid, Jantzer, Knudsvig Lehner, B. Miller, M. Miller, Moen, Olson, Withus nays: none. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Alderman B. Miller moved the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Lehner and carried unanimously.
