To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 4:31 p.m. on August 1, 2012: 1. That the City Council approve the request by Noble Inn, LLC for a Retail Beer and Wine alcoholic beverage sales license, dba Noble Inn (1009 20th Avenue SE), effective October 1, 2012. ********** The above motion by Alderman Connole, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 2. That the City Council approve the request by Souris River Brewing, LLC for a Retail Beer and Wine alcoholic beverage sales license, dba Souris River Brewing (32 3rd Street NE), effective September 1, 2012. ********** The above motion by Alderman Connole, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 3. That the City Council approve an extension of premises for alcoholic beverage sales for Classic Foods of Minot, dba The Ground Round (2100 Burdick Expressway East), to include the outdoor patio area. ********** The above motion by Alderman Connole, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. LIQUOR AND GAMBLING CONTROL COMMITTEE August 1, 2012 Page 2 4. That the City Council approve an extension of premises for alcoholic beverage sales for Northern BBQ, LLC, dba The Hangar Grill & Snack Shack, located at the Minot International Airport (25 Airport Road), to include the first floor of the terminal building, post-security and within the concession area only. ********** The above motion by Alderman Connole, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 5. That the City Council approve the request to transfer a Retail Liquor and Beer alcoholic beverage sales license from The Riviera (1124 4th Avenue NW) to Johanneson’s Inc. dba Marketplace Liquor – North Hill, located at 2211 16th Street NW, effective August 7, 2012 subject to approval of the Building Official and Police Chief. ********** The above motion by Alderman Connole, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously. 6. That the City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. Domestic Violence Crisis Center for a local permit to conduct raffle on August 25, 2012 at The Landing Bar (2015 N Broadway). b. Grand International for a special event permit on July 4, 2012 at Minot International Airport (25 Airport Road). c. The Landing Bar & Bottle Shop for a special event permit on July 4, 2012 at Minot International Inn (25 Airport Road). d. Ebeneezer’s for a special event permit on July 14, 2012 at Ebeneezer’s Parking Lot (300 E Central Ave). e. Sports on Tap for a special event permit on July 21, 2012 at 207 S Main Street. ********** The above motion by Alderman Connole, seconded by Alderman Seymour, and carried unanimously.
