To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 4:45 p.m. on January 30, 2013: 1. That the City Council approve the request to transfer a Hotel/Motel alcoholic beverage sales license from Riverside, Inc. – Holiday Inn Riverside to Heartland Hospitality Fund, LLC (Steven Kaplan), dba Holiday Inn Riverside, effective February 5, 2013. ********** The above motion by Alderman Connole, seconded by Alderman M. Miller, and carried unanimously. 2. That the City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. Wildwood Men’s League for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 23, 2013 at Knights of Columbus (2601 N Broadway). b. Relay for Life-American Cancer Society for a local permit to conduct raffle on June 7, 2013 at Minot State University (500 University Ave W). c. Souris River Basin Longbeards for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 9, 2013 at the Grand International (1505 N Broadway). d. Minot Chapter Harley Owners Group for a local permit to conduct weekly raffle from February 1, 2013 to January 31, 2014. e. Minot High Varsity Dance Team for a local permit to conduct raffle on January 19, 2013 at the MSU Dome (500 University Ave W). f. MSU Native American Cultural Awareness Club for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 27, 2013 at Minot State University (500 University Ave W). g. Minot Association of Builders for a local permit to conduct raffle on March 17, 2013 at the Minot Association of Builders (606 Burdick Expy W, Ste B). h. Boy Scout Troop 425 for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 21, 2013 at the Congregational United Church of Christ (430 N Broadway). l. Magic City Girls Basketball Boosters for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 28, 2013 at Magic City Campus (1100 11th Ave SW). m. Sports on Tap for a special event permit on December 29, 2012 at Sports on Tap basement (220 S Broadway). n. Seven’s Bar & Restaurant for a special event permit on January 31, 2013 at 905 20th Ave SE. o.
