Others Present: City Manager, City Clerk, City Attorney, Assistant City Attorney, Finance Director, Public Works Director, Assistant Public Works Director, City Engineer, Assistant City Engineer, Police Chief, Fire Chief, Recreation/Auditorium Director, City Assessor, Public Information Officer, Traffic Engineer, City Planner, Comptroller, Treasurer, Airport Director, Alderman B. Miller, and Jill Schramm. To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the recommendations from the Airport Committee meeting called to order at 5:31 p.m., January 29, 2013: 1. That the City Council approve a miscellaneous professional services agreement with Kadrmas, Lee, and Jackson, Inc. not to exceed $25,000 in $5,000 increments; and further, authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement on the City’s behalf. ********** The above motion by Alderman Lehner and seconded by Alderman Knudsvig and carried unanimously. 2. That the City Council approve a professional services agreement with Kadrmas, Lee, and Jackson, Inc. for design work in the amount of $43,000 for the airport high-speed snow plow and snow sweeper; and further, authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement on the City’s behalf. ********** The above motion by Alderman Lehner and seconded by Alderman Knudsvig and carried unanimously. AIRPORT COMMITTEE January 29, 2013 Page 2 3. That the City Council approve the amendment to the professional services agreement with Kadrmas, Lee, and Jackson, Inc. for the Security Access Control System Upgrade project in the amount of $17,861.33; and further, authorize the Mayor to sign the amendment on the City’s behalf. ********** The above motion by Alderman Lehner and seconded by Alderman Knudsvig and carried unanimously. 4. That the City Council approve the amendment to the professional services agreement with Kadrmas, Lee, and Jackson, Inc. for the New Terminal Design project in the amount of $25,000; and further, authorize the Mayor to sign the amendment on the City’s behalf. ********** The above motion by Alderman Lehner and seconded by Alderman Knudsvig and carried unanimously. 5. That the City Council approve the amendment to the lease agreement with Minot Aero Center for the hangar addition; and further, authorize the Mayor to sign the amendment on the City’s behalf. ********** The above motion by Alderman Lehner and seconded by Alderman Knudsvig and carried unanimously. General Information The Airport Director reported a new Airport Operations Technician had been hired and still has three open positions. He stated the load factors for flights had been reduced due to the increased seating per flight. He also commented January and February are normally lighter months for enplanements.
