To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 5:06 p.m. on January 9, 2013: 1. That the City Council approve a gaming site authorization for ND Chapter of Delta Waterfowl at Grand International Inn – Convention Center (1505 North Broadway) effective on February 22 and 23, 2013. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman M. Miller, and carried unanimously. 2. That the City Council approve a gaming site authorization for American Foundation for Wildlife at the ‘O’riginal Bar and Nightclub (720 North Broadway) effective January 15, 2013 through June 30, 2013. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman M. Miller, and carried unanimously. 3. That the City Council approve a gaming site authorization for Rehab Services, Inc. at the Landing Bar and Bottle Shop (2015 North Broadway) effective January 15, 2013 through June 30, 2013. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman M. Miller, and carried unanimously. 4. That the City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. MSU Women’s Softball for a local permit to conduct raffle from December 7, 2012 to February 16, 2013 at the MSU Dome (500 University Ave W). b. Perkett Elementary PTA for a local permit to conduct raffle from December 21, 2012 to February 12, 2013 at Perkett Elementary School (2000 5th Ave SW). d. Minot Swim Club for a local permit to conduct raffle from December 9, 2012 to March 10, 2013 at Magic City Campus (1100 11th Ave SW). e. Minot Wrestling Boosters for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 2, 2013 at Magic City Campus (1100 11th Ave SW). f. Knights of Columbus for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 10, 2013 at Little Flower Church (800 University Ave W). g. Bel Air Elementary PTA for a local permit to conduct raffle on March 1, 2013 at Bel Air Elementary School (501 25th St NW). h. Lewis & Clark Elementary School for a local permit to conduct raffle on January 25, 2013 at Lewis & Clark Elementary School (2215 8th St NW). i. McKinley Elementary PTA for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 2, 2013 at McKinley Elementary School (5 5th Ave NE). j. Sweet & Flour Patisserie for a special event permit on December 5, 2012 at La Quinta Inn & Suites (1605 35th Ave SW). k. Grand International for a special event permit on December 15, 2012 at Taube Museum of Art (2 Main Street). l.
