To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the informal recommendations due to a lack of a quorum of those members present for the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 4:39 p.m. on February 26, 2014: 1. The City Council approve the request by Souris River Brewing LLC for a Supper Club License, dba Souris River Brewing LLC (32 3rd St NE), effective March 4, 2014, subject to receipt of all documentation and approval by the Police Chief and Building Official. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Connole, and carried unanimously. 2. The City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. Wildwood Men’s League for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 22, 2014 at Knights of Columbus (2601 N Broadway). b. ND State USBC WBA for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 29, 2014 at North Hill Bowl (1901 N Broadway). c. Joanne & Daryl Rademacher Benefit for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 23, 2014 at the Minot Moose Lodge (400 9th St SW). d. Sweet & Flour Patisserie for a special event permit on February 7, 2014 at Hess Corporation (3015 16th St SW). e. Sweet & Flour Patisserie for a special event permit on February 14, 2014 at Taube Museum of Art (2 Main St N). f. American Cancer Society Relay for Life- Banking on a Cure for a local permit to conduct raffle on June 19, 2014 at Minot State University (500 University Ave W). g. Longfellow PTA for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 11, 2014 at Longfellow Elementary School (600 16th St NW). h. Bishop Ryan Catholic School Carnival for a local permit to conduct bingo from February 21, 2014 to February 23, 2014 at Bishop Ryan Catholic School gym (316 11th Ave NW). i. Ducks Unlimited-Minot Chapter for a local permit to conduct raffle on February 15, 2014 at the Grand Hotel (1505 N Broadway). j. Minot Matwrats Wrestling Club for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 19, 2014 at Magic City Campus (1100 11th Ave SW). k.
