Miller, Alderman Krabseth, and Alderman Lehner To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the recommendations from the Airport Committee meeting called to order at 4:38 p.m., April 1, 2014: 1. The City Council award the bid to Acme Tools for a Tractor and Mower attachment in the amount of $88,727. (AIR012) ********** The above motion by Alderman Lehner, seconded by Alderman Frey and carried unanimously. 2. The City Council approve a Professional Services Agreement with Kim Kenville Consulting for consulting on the Airport Strategic Plan, not to exceed $18,150 plus appropriate travel expenses; and further authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement and any related documents on the City’s behalf. ********** Upon questioning by Committee member Larson in regards to how the fee amount for this agreement was calculated, the Airport Director stated the worker needed 121 hours at $150 / hour. The amount is reasonable for consulting services and the City will only be billed for hours completed. The above motion by Alderman Lehner seconded by Committee member Larson and carried unanimously. ********** 3. The City Council approve an agreement with the Minot International Airport, the 757th Airlift Squadron, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Williston Vector Control District for mosquito spraying; and further authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Agreement on the City’s behalf. ********** The above motion by AldermanKnudsvig, seconded by Committee member Alderman Frey and carried unanimously.
