To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 4:33p.m. on April 2, 2014: 1. The City Council authorize gaming site authorization extension of premises for MSU Alumni Association at the Grand International – Convention Center (1505 N. Broadway) on April 2, 2014. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman M. Miller, and carried unanimously. 2. The City Council approve the request by Concession Services LLC for a Retail Beer and Wine License, dba The Tap Room (23 Main Street South) effective April 8, 2014, subject to receipt of all documentation and approval by the Police Chief and Building Official. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman M. Miller, and carried unanimously. 3. The City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. Riding for the Homeless for a local permit to conduct raffle on June 14, 2014 at Nola’s Lounge (919 Burdick Expy W). b. 125 Motorcycle Club for a local permit to conduct raffle on June 20, 2014 at the Ranger Lounge (1218 S Broadway). c. MSU Women’s Golf Team for a local permit to conduct raffle on May 1, 2014 at Minot State University (500 University Ave W). d. MLT Employee March of Dimes Committee for a local permit to conduct raffle on March 22, 2014 at MSU Dome (500 University Ave W). e. Grand Hotel for a special event permit on March 5, 2014 Staybridge Suites (3009 S Broadway). f. Minot Public School Foundation for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 12, 2014 at Holiday Inn- Riverside (2200 Burdick Expy E). g.
