MINUTES CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING CITY OF MONTEREY Wednesday, November 16, 2022 3:00 PM COUNCIL CHAMBER, 580 PACIFIC ST., AND ZOOM TELECONFERENCE MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA Councilmembers Present: Haffa, Smith*, Roberson* Absent: None * Attended remotely by teleconference City Staff City Manager, City Attorney, Parks and Recreation Director, Finance Present: Director, Library & Museums Director, Public Works Director, City Clerk, Property Manager This meeting was held with a combination of in-person and teleconference attendance, pursuant to the Ralph M. Brown Act, Calif. Government Code section 54953(e)(1)(C) and Resolution No. 22-143 C.S. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Roberson called the meeting to order at 3:10 p.m. with the full Council present as highlighted above. City Clerk Klein explained to the public how to participate in the meeting virtually. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Roberson led the Pledge. CONSENT ITEMS Public comment on the Consent Items was not received. Brown Act Provisions (Not a project under CEQA per Article 20 Section 15378 and under General Rule Article 5 Section 15061) Action: Adopted Resolution No. 22-149 C.S. ***End of Consent Agenda*** Adjourn to Successor Agency of the Redevelopment Agency Meeting: Consent Agenda The Council adjourned to the Successor Agency of the Redevelopment Agency. Public comment on the Consent Item was not received. 5. Adopt a Resolution Dissolving the Successor Agency of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Monterey Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 34187(b) (Exempt from CEQA Section 15061(b)(3) Action: Adopted SA/RDA Resolution No. 867 City Manager Uslar gave a brief verbal report on the background of the Successor Agency of the Redevelopment Agency.
