CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Krebs called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Ms. Huerta called the roll with thirteen (13) neighborhoods represented and Aguajito
Oaks and Alta Mesa absent.

Mr. Krebs opened public comments. Seeing none, Mr. Krebs closed public comments.

1. Purpose of Meeting -- to hear items not heard during April 4, 2019 meeting due to time
constraints (Not a project under CEQA Article 20, Section 15378 and under General Rule
Article 5, Section 15061)
Action: Explained purpose of the meeting.
PUBLIC APPEARANCE
2. NIP Committee Project Review: Citywide (CW-14 through CW-46, excluding CW-17,
CW-19, CW-32, CW-36 and CW-37) -- For items not heard at April 4, 2019 meeting (Not
a project under CEQA Article 20, Section 15378 and under General Rule Article 5,
Section 15061)
Action: Presented slideshow and videos of projects; Discussed
COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS
Harlan Jencks said goodnight.
Jean Rasch had no comment.
Curt Tipton had no comment.
Sharon Dwight discussed comments from the Parks and Recreation Committee.
Lee Whitney said goodnight.
April Harrison commented on neighborhood base allocations.
Dennis Duke said see you next time.
Dave Overton had no comment.
Richard Ruccello discussed submitted projects in regards to City policy.
Merrily Alley had no comment.
Jayme Fields commented on the energy during NIP meetings.

Program Committee and which is not on the agenda. Any person or group desiring to bring an
item to the attention of the Neighborhood Improvement Program Committee may do so during
Public Comments or by addressing a letter of explanation to: NIP Coordinator, Public Works,
Engineering Division, City Hall, Monterey CA 93940.

information that they may wish to take action by placing the item on a future agenda.

after being recognized by the NIP Staff Coordinator. The Coordinator may limit the time allocated
to each speaker.

COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS
COMMITTEE MEMBERS may ask a question for clarification, make a brief announcement or
make a brief report on his or her activities. In addition, a Committee member may provide a
referral to staff or other resources for factual information, request staff to report back to the body
at a subsequent meeting concerning any NIP matter, or direct staff to place a request to agendize
a matter of business on a future agenda. (G.C. 54954.2)
