Montpelier Housing Authority Annual Meeting November 21, 2017 The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman McCullough, with Commissioners Hannon, Larson, Stevens-Favorite and Zern present. Agenda Item II - Approval of Agenda The agenda was approved with no changes or additions. Agenda Item III – Approval of Minutes Commissioner Larson moved that the minutes of the October 17, 2017 regular meeting be accepted as written. Commissioner Hannon seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Agenda Item IV – Election of Officers Election of officers was held. Commissioner Larson moved that the following slate of officers be elected: Chairman Jack McCullough Vice-Chairman Katy Stevens- Favorite Secretary Jo Ann Troiano There being no further candidates, the motion was approved by acclimation. Agenda Item V – Review of Vouchers Bank Statements, and Financial Reports Vouchers and bank statements were made available for Commissioners to review. Mrs. Troiano reviewed the September 30 financial statements prepared by our fee accountant and answered questions. The in-house financial statement was also reviewed. Agenda Item VI – Executive Director’s Report The Board confirmed that the $5,000.00 approved at our last meeting to assist Good Samaritan Haven with the installation of an accessible shower will come Management fee reserves. Mrs. Troiano discussed the recent Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) scores. Commissioner Larson asked for information about how the score is determined. Mrs. Troiano discussed each of the fourteen indicators and how the information is derived. Chairman McCullough suggested sending a copy of the letter to the City.
