MONTPELIER HOUSING AUTHORITY Regular Meeting January 16, 2018 The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Chairman McCullough with Commissioners Hannon, Larson, Stevens- Favorite, and Zern present. Agenda Item II – Approve Agenda The agenda was approved with no changes or additions. Agenda Item III – Approval of Minutes Commissioner Larson moved that the minutes of the November 21, 2017 regular meeting be accepted as written. Commissioner Zern seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Agenda Item IV Review of Vouchers, Bank Statements and Financial Reports Vouchers and bank statements were made available for Commissioners to review. Mrs. Troiano reviewed the November financial statements and answered questions. Although it won’t be reflected until the January financial report, she did note that as of January 1 we only had 104 vouchers under lease. Three vouchers terminated December 31. We are actively issuing vouchers to increase our lease-up rate. The deficit shown on Gould report is due to the installation of exterior lights. Agenda Item V - Executive Directors Report In addition to the written report, Mrs. Troiano discussed our PHAS score in more detail and answered questions about each component. Mrs. Troiano asked if Board members still wanted her to forward the weekly City Manager’s reports. She had stopped sending them. Since there was interest she will resume this week. Agenda Item VI – Discussion and Action FY 2017 Audit Mrs. Troiano presented the audit discussed the finding and the corrective action. Since CCHF is considered a minor component of the Authority the finding will not have a negative effect on our PHAS score. After further discussion Commissioner Larson moved that the finding and corrective action be acknowledged and that the audit be accepted as presented.
