ATTENDEES: Mason, Jordan, Meredith, Alexandria, Dylan 1. CALL TO ORDER: 7:05pm 2. APPROVE MINUTES: (February 2024) 7:07pm Alexandria/Jordan motion to approve 3. REPORTS a. CITY COUNCIL- absent from meeting b. BOPARC - Meredith (rec/park management) - no updates other than camp registration is now open. 4. FOLLOW-UP ITEMS a. Community Survey - The community survey is ready to launch. City is going to launch digitally, and will be distributed through Health & Wellness social channels. Looking into printing flyers. b. Partnerships - Mason reached out to Mon River Trails Conservancy. Dylan reached out about the ARC grant, not the right fit for the H&W Commission. c. Grants - Mason reached out to Volunteer WV about their grants. The commission has missed the deadline this time, but they will keep us in mind for the future. d. Social Media - Mason and the rest of the social team (Alexandria/Jordan) will start posting soon. Content will be general health & wellness topics and amplifying community events/posts.  e. Commission volunteer date - considered April 6th with Pantry Plus, or April 20th for alumni day of service. Commission motioned to approve April 20th volunteer day (Alexandria and Meredith). Mason will follow up with ambassadors to confirm how the commission can best help. 5. NEW BUSINESS a. Vacant Commission position b. Website - confirm commission cannot have their own website c. Bylaws - need to be updated. Mason following-up and commission will vote in the next couple of months. d. Summer concert series/community events - commission looking into how we can get involved in. Reaching out to Main Street Morgantown. e. Strategic plan - commission looking for in-person meeting in April or May to work on updates. f. The Commission may revisit monthly meeting dates in the next commission meeting, April 4th. 6. GENERAL COMMISSION COMMENTS: a. WV Department of Health giving out grants for community garden.
