WARD & BOUNDARY COMMISSION MEETING Tuesday, October 30, 2018 City Hall Council Chambers 1:00 p.m. PRESENT: Chairman Roy Nutter, Deputy Clerk Heather Carl, Commission Members: Sarah Barnes, Cindy O’Brien, Roger Banks, Alice Meehan, and William Ryan. Alan Donaldson was absent. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Roy Nutter at 1:00 p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion by O’Brien, second by Meehan, to approve the October 23rd, 2018 meeting minutes as corrected. PUBLIC PORTION: Chairman Roy Nutter declared the Public Portion open. There being no appearances Chairman Nutter declared the Public Portion closed. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: A. Letter to Council Commissioner Banks brought forth a substitute amendment to the original letter that was prepared by Chairman Roy Nutter. Motion by Banks, second by Nutter to discuss the letter from Banks. After discussion, motion by Meehan, second by Barnes, to continue with the letter prepared from Chairman Nutter with some changes. Ex. A (Original Letter) Commissioner Banks requested to have an additional minority report be included in the report. By consensus, the minority report will be added. See attached letter and data received that will be sent to Council. Ex. B (Final Letter) B. Software and data review After discussion, the commission has decided to continue looking into a software that they can work with. NEW BUSINESS: A.
