MOSES LAKE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES OF May 13, 2021 . Commissioners Present (Virtually): Nathan Nofziger (Chair), Charles Hepburn (Vice Chair), Gary Mann, Anne Henning, Eric Skaug Commissioners Absent: Staff Present: Community Development Director Melissa Bethel, Planning Manager Vivian Ramsey, Planning Permit Technician Michelene Torrey, City Engineer Richard Law The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Motion to approve April 12, 2021 minutes by Commissioner Mann and seconded by Commissioner Hepburn. Item # 1 (6 Year Transportation Improvement Plan- Presented by Richard Law) Engineer Law presented the items of the 6 Year Transportation Improvement Plan for review by the Commission. The Transportation Improvement Plan was designed by the consultant group Perteet, they used elements from the Comprehensive Plan’s Transportation element as well as studies Municipal Services has done over the previous years. Discussion points included: gravel roads within the city, roundabouts and locations of roundabouts, and Valley Road improvements. Planning Commission Questions and Comments: Director Bethel thanked the commission and reminded them of the upcoming study sessions with City Council. Meeting adjourned at 6:40 PM by Chair Nofziger.
