CITY OF MOSES LAKE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
OF May 16, 2023
Commissioners Present: Nathan Nofziger (Chair), Charles Hepburn (Vice Chair), Susan
Tao, Gary Mann, Adam Weber
Commissioners Absent: N/A
Staff Present: Community Development Director Kirsten Sackett, Planning Manager
Vivian Ramsey, Senior Planner Nathan Pate, and Planning Technician Michelene
Torrey
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Attendance was called by Secretary
Michelene Torrey.
Item # 1- Approval of Minutes from February 16,2023 Meeting
Commissioner Hepburn moved to approve the minutes; this motion was seconded by
Commissioner Mann. Passed Unanimously.
New Commissioner Adam Weber was introduced and gave a brief introduction to the
Commission.
Item #2 Uniform Development Code Update
Rachel Granrath with SCJ Alliance updated the commission on the status of the
development code update. Staff and Ms. Granrath answered questions regarding the
density and development regulations that were presented in the Commissioner’s
packets. Staff and the commission planned the workshops that will be needed for the
code update to be adopted by the end of the year.

No questions/comments from Staff or the Commission.
