CITY OF MOSES LAKE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES OF August 10, 2023 Commissioners Present: Charles Hepburn (Vice Chair), Gary Mann, Adam Weber Commissioners Absent: Susan Tao and Nathan Nofziger Staff Present: Community Development Director Kirsten Peterson, Planning Manager Vivian Ramsey, Senior Planner Nathan Pate, Associate Planner Amy Harris, and Planning Technician Michelene Torrey The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Attendance was called by Secretary Michelene Torrey. Commissioner Tao and Chair Nofziger were absent. Commissioner Mann moved to excuse the commissioner’s absence; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Weber. Passed unanimously. Item # 1- Approval of Minutes from June 8th and July 13th Meeting Commissioner Mann moved to approve the minutes; this motion was seconded by Commissioner Weber. Passed Unanimously. Item #2- Municipal Code Update The commission reviewed the second half of Div II of the Development Code. Discussion surrounded around the permitting processes and application requirements. Item #3 Short Course Video – Department of Commerce A short video was shown to the commission on the implementation of the comprehensive plan. Meeting adjourned at 8:03 pm by Vice Chair Hepburn.
