CITY OF MOSES LAKE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES OF February 22, 2024 Commissioners Present: Nathan Nofziger (Chair), Charles Hepburn (Vice Chair), Commissioners Absent: Susan Tao,Gary Mann Staff Present: Community Development Director Kirsten Peterson, Planning Manager Vivian Ramsey, Senior Planner Nathan Pate, and Planning Technician Michelene Torrey The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Attendance was called by Secretary Michelene Torrey. Vice Chair Hepburn moved to excuse Commissioner Mann’s absence due to prior correspondence of his upcoming absence, seconded by Commissioner Weber. Passed Unanimously. Vice Chair Hepburn moved to not excuse Commissioner Tao’s absence; Motion was seconded by Commissioner Weber. Item # 1- Approval of Minutes from February 8th, Meeting Meeting Minutes were not provided to the commission due to a technical error within the recording feature. Item #2 – Development Code Review- The commission and staff reviewed the parking standards and the lighting portion of the updated code and gave input on the existing code and items that were currently working as well as items that they would like to see changed. The commission requested we keep our current parking code standards with minor updates. Meeting adjourned at 7:34 PM by Chair Nofziger.
