a. Consider a motion to approve Council meeting minutes for August 5, 2019.
11. Administration and Finance Committee.
a. Consider a motion to approve the Laurel Harvest Labs, LLC, request for a 60-day
extension, until December 1, 2019, in accordance with Section 240-29 of the
Borough Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.

12. Public Safety Committee
a. Consider a motion to approve the request by MSMJ for Winterfest for closure of
Main Street from Market Street to Barbara Street and Delta Street from Main
Street to East Henry Street on December 7, 2019.
b. Consider a motion to recommend that the Borough Manager send a letter to
PennDOT recommending implementation of Option B of Route 772 Routing
Study. Option B would relocate 772 to Union School Road to South Angle Street
to West Main Street to Manheim Street.
c. Part-time Police Officer update.
d. Consider a motion to approve the Indemnification Agreement between the
Borough of Mount Joy and the Make-A-Wish Foundation dated August 28, 2019.
13. Public Works Committee
a. Consider a motion to approve Ordinance No. 4-19 – Sidewalk Street Exemption.
b. Consider a motion to authorize the Borough Manager to sign an agreement with
Sensenig Roofing Co. for the re-roofing the Florin Fire Company Building under
COSTARS contract number 008-556 for an amount not to exceed $69,700.
c. Pinkerton Road design discussion.
d. Fire Department Mount Joy letter – concrete ramp replacement.
e. Consider a motion to remove from the table and consider amendments (see
Attachment A) to the Sidewalk Ordinance Chapter 232-60(A)(7)(9) and add
Chapter 232-60(D) as proposed by the Public Works Committee. Direct the
Solicitor to prepare amendments to the Sidewalk Ordinance.
f. Consider amendment (see Attachment B) to the Sidewalk Ordinance Chapter
232-61(A) as proposed by the Public Works Committee. Direct the Solicitor to
prepare amendments to the Sidewalk Ordinance.
g. Consider amendment (see Attachment C) to the Sidewalk Ordinance Chapter
232-65 as proposed by the Public Works Committee. Direct the Solicitor to
prepare amendments to the Sidewalk Ordinance.
h. Consider amendment (see Attachment D) to the Sidewalk Ordinance Chapter
232-62 as proposed by the Public Works Committee. Direct the Solicitor to
prepare amendments to the Sidewalk Ordinance.
14. Public Input Period - Comments of Any Borough Resident or Property Owner. Time limit
of three minutes per individual.
16. Any other matter proper to come before Council.
