MOUNT PLEASANT TOWN COUNCIL Special Council Meeting Friday, February 16, 2018 1:00 p.m. – Committee Meeting Room rd 3 Floor - Mount Pleasant Municipal Complex 100 Ann Edwards Lane, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 MINUTES I. Call to Order Mayor Haynie called the Special Town Council meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Gary Santos, Mr. Jim Owens, Mr. Tom O’Rourke, Ms. Guang Ming Whitley, Ms. Kathy Landing, Mr. Bob Brimmer and Mr. Joe Bustos were all present. II. Public Comment Mayor Haynie asked if there were any members of the public that wished to speak. Hearing none, he stated the next item on the agenda was consideration of adoption of a Resolution declaring the results of the February 13, 2018 Special Election. III. Adoption: A Resolution declaring results of the February 13, 2018 Special Election. (R.18029) Mr. Santos moved for adoption, seconded by Ms. Whitley. All present voted in favor. Mr. DeMoura read the RESOLUTION BY TITLE ONLY. This Resolution SIGNED, SEALED and DELIVERED this date. IV. Administration of Oath Mayor Haynie administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Kevin Cunnane, and congratulated him on his victory. Mr. Cunnane thanked everyone who attended and those that assisted in his campaign stating he would work hard for the citizens of Mount Pleasant. V.
