1. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend the Zoning Code of the
Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances Section 156.007, Definitions,
and to amend Zoning Code Sections 156.430, 156.431, 156.432,
and 156.433, which provide for the Organization, Definitions,
Power and Duties, and Procedures of the Old Village Historic
District Commission, and elsewhere within Chapter 156. (Ord. No.

2. First Reading: An Ordinance to rezone from OP, Office
Professional District, to AB-2, Areawide Business District, an
approximately 0.83 acre tract of land located at 1190 Shadow
Drive and depicted in Plat Book AJ, Page 079, Charleston County
ROD. Subject parcel to remain in the BOD, Boulevard Overlay
District. (Ord. No. 19063)
3. First Reading: An Ordinance providing for an amendment to the
Oakland Plantation PD, Planned Development District Ordinance
(No. 04104), and subsequent amendments, pertaining to the
treatment of signs on five certain parcels identified on the sign
exhibit by classifying two existing legal nonconforming signs to be
conforming. (Ord. No. 19064)

4. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend the Central Mount Pleasant
PD-MU-SU, Planned Development-Mixed Use Suburban-Urban
District Ordinance (Ordinance No. 07030, as amended) by
rezoning an approximately 1.99 acre parcel from R-1, Low Density
Residential District, and incorporating it into the PD as part of the
School Tract. Parcel is located at 1432 Hale Road and depicted on
a Plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in Plat Book
M, Page 011. (Ord. No. 19065)
5. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend Paragraph (3) of Section
156.102(A), of Chapter 156, Zoning Code, of the Mount Pleasant
Code of Ordinances pertaining to the height of certain accessory
structures. (Ord. No. 19066)
6. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend Paragraph (1) of Section
156.107(A), of Chapter 156, Zoning Code, of the Mount Pleasant
Code of Ordinances pertaining to the encroachment of certain
accessory structures in setbacks. (Ord. No. 19067)
7. First Reading: An Ordinance to amend the Building Permit
Allocation Ordinance (Ordinance No. 18097), to increase the
number of Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) permits from 10 to 25
annually, with these additional 15 permits coming out of a
reduction to the Single Family Residential Dwelling allocation.

8. First Reading: An Ordinance to rezone from NC, Neighborhood
Commercial District, to R-1, Low Density Residential District, an
approximately 0.18 acre tract of land located on Schirmer Avenue
and depicted in Plat Book J, Page 111, Charleston County ROD.

1. Final Reading: An Ordinance to amend the Building Height Plan
Map to allow up to 80 feet in building height for an approximately
30.32 acre portion of a larger 162.86 acre tract of land located off
Patriots Point Road, identified by TMS No. 517-0-00-001 (a
portion thereof), and depicted in Plat Book W, Page 025,
Charleston County ROD. (Ord. No. 19057)
2. Final Reading: An Ordinance providing for the adoption of a
Development Agreement pertaining to the new development
known as Patriots Annex, located off Patriots Point Road, and
entitled Patriots Annex Development Agreement, by and between
the Town of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Patriots Point
Development Authority, and Patriots Annex, LLC. (Ord. No. 19058)
IX. COMMITTEE ACTION ITEMS
A. Finance Committee
1. Approval to accept the FY 2018 Staffing for Adequate Fire and
Emergency Response (SAFER) grant for six firefighters
2. Approval to accept the 2019 Port Security Grant for a Police
Safe Boat
3. Approval to accept the 2020 Highway Safety Grant for a traffic
safety police officer and vehicle
4. Approval for Town Council to create a task force for the
purpose of discussing with Charleston County the reduction in
County Accommodations Tax Funds

1. Adoption: A Resolution to continue the Agreement with
Charleston County to authorize their Revenue Collection
Department to collect Mount Pleasant Stormwater Fees on

2. Adoption: A Resolution authorizing the execution and
delivery of a Second Amendment to Payments in Lieu of Tax
Agreement by and between the Town of Mount Pleasant,
South Carolina, and each of Ferry Wharf IV, LLC, and Patriots
Annex, LLC to provide for additional property to be subject
thereto; and other matters (R.19102)
3. Discussion and possible action regarding potential impact the
National Medal of Honor Heritage Center financial
commitment may have on established Fire Department goals
4. Discussion and possible action concerning Freedom of
Information Act requirements for the Mayor’s Economic
Development Advisory Panel
