MOUNT PLEASANT TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING Monday, November 30, 2020, 1:00 PM Municipal Complex, Council Chambers 100 Ann Edwards Lane Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 MINUTES I. Call to Order Mayor Haynie called the meeting to order at 1:06 p.m. Council Members Laura Hyatt, Guang Ming Whitley, Kathy Landing, Tom O’Rourke, Brenda Corley, Jake Rambo and Howard Chapman were present. Council Member Gary Santos was absent. II. Public Comment There were no public comments. III. Executive Session Mayor Haynie asked for a motion to go into executive session to consider applications submitted to serve as Municipal Judges. Ms. Whitley moved to go into executive session for the reason stated, seconded by Ms. Landing. All present voted in favor. Council adjourned into executive session at 1:07 p.m. Consideration of applications submitted to serve as Municipal Judges  Special Town Council Meeting November 30, 2020 Page 2 of 2 IV. Post Executive Session Council may take action on any item, including any subsection of any section, listed on an executive session agenda or discussed in an executive session during a properly noticed meeting. Mayor Haynie reconvened the meeting at 1:14 p.m. stating no action or votes were taken. Ms. Whitley moved to appoint Paul Thurmond and Anna Richter as Municipal Judges, seconded by Mr. Rambo.
