MOUNT PLEASANT TOWN COUNCIL Special Council Meeting Friday, November 5, 2021, 12:00 PM Committee Meeting Room 3 Floor - Mount Pleasant Municipal Complex rd 100 Ann Edwards Lane, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 MINUTES I. Call to Order Mayor Haynie called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. Guang Ming Whitley, Howard Chapman and Jake Rambo were all present. Gary Santos participated electronically. Kathy Landing, Tom O’Rourke, Brenda Corley and Laura Hyatt were all absent. II. Public Comment Mr. Howard Chapman, 824 Natchez Circle stated he is a life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and today is the 100th birthday of the organization. Their members help plan, design and build buildings and infrastructure. They also provide for a grade of our infrastructure annually. This annual grade is sent to congress and helps to decide how much funding we receive. Mr. Chapman stated he would like the Town to send a congratulatory note for this occasion. III. Adoption: A Resolution declaring Election results of November 2, 2021. (R.21111) Mr. Rambo moved to adopt the resolution seconded by Mr. Chapman. All present voted in favor. Mr. Chapman stated he would like to congratulate the Election Commission for their hard work to quickly process the election results. IV.
