SPECIAL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING Wednesday, January 10, 2024 5:30 p.m. Municipal Complex, Council Chambers 100 Ann Edwards Lane, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 MINUTES *Meeting rescheduled from Tuesday, January 9 to Wednesday, January 10, 2024 due to the threat of severe weather. 1. Call to Order Mayor Haynie called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and noted this meeting had been rescheduled from Tuesday, January 9 due to severe weather. Daniel Brownstein, Howard Chapman, Laura Hyatt, Guang Ming Whitley, Jake Rambo, John Iacofano and Gary Santos were all present. Carl Ritchie was absent. 2. Public Comment [None] 3. Recognition of 12U Football State Champions Ms. Hyatt, on behalf of Mayor Haynie and Town Council introduced congratulated the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department 12 U football team for their state championship.  Special Council Meeting January 10, 2024 Page 2 of 2 4. Presentation of Interfaith Harmony Month Proclamation Mr. DeMoura read the proclamation issued by Mayor Haynie and presented it to Pastor Dan Freemyer and Dena Moses, President of the Charleston Interreligious Council. 5.
