relief from the strict application of§156.007 Definitions, Building
Line, to all application of front and rear setbacks on the longer
dimensions of the lot and side setbacks based on shorter dimensions
of lot. The ordinance establishes front and rear based on the shorter
dimension and side setbacks based on the longer dimension.
Mr. Robertson reviewed staff comments with the Board.
Ms. Elizabeth Drake, representatives for the owner, reviewed the
request with the Board.
There being no comments, Mr. Wolff closed public comments.
Mr. Barrow moved for approval based on the findings of the testimony
at the meeting, particularly that the addition encroaching on the setback
was approved by the Town of Mount Pleasant causing an illegal structure,
that there are extraordinary conditions and are unique to this property
and do not apply to property in general vicinity, application of the
ordinance would unreasonably restrict the property as the building is
currently illegal, and approval would not be a detriment to adjacent
property, public good or character of the district. Mr. Duke seconded the
motion. All in favor.
2. Case V-8-2021, 706 Adluh Street, TMS# 532-06-00-056. Request for

dimension and side setbacks based on the longer dimension.
