Approval of Minutes from the September 19, 2018 meeting Mr. Williams made a motion to approve the minutes of the September 19, 2018 meeting. Ms. Monteiro seconded the motion. All were in favor. 2. Public Comments None 3. Report from Subcommittees a. Green Mount P Ms. Sweet said she has several initiatives she would like Green Mount P work on this quarter. She said that they need to move forward with their bee and pollinator program, including the bee friendly signage. To start that she plans to meet with Abide A While since they are the largest nursery/garden center and get some direction from them. She said she wanted to start working to possibly get some garden clubs or other types of groups involved with an adopt-a-garden program or adopt-a-park program. She said  Culture, Art & Pride Commission October 10, 2018 Page 2 of 22 another initiative is getting involved with Palmetto Pride, a statewide organization that originally started as a litter campaign but encompasses several other programs now. She said Charleston and North Charleston have Palmetto Pride affiliates, but Mount Pleasant does not. She said she was going to look into that and see what it would entail to become part of their initiatives. Ms. Sweet said it would be called Keep Mount Pleasant Beautiful. She said they have many great programs including grants that the Commission may be able to apply for. She said they have a Tree Grant Program statewide that she would like to talk to them about. She said they do art contests and she thought maybe they can tie in an art wrap on a trash truck that we had discussed a while back with Public Services. She said they also have programs that get involved with schools. She said they have a program that involves a puppet show on how litter trashes everyone. She said she would work on the Palmetto Pride initiative and see if that was something the Commission can join. She said that the third initiative was the Tree Bank. She said she would love to get that going and find out if there was something they need to be involved with the Comprehensive Plan that Mount Pleasant has. She said she did notice that one of the things noted in the Comprehensive Plan was natural resources, so she would like to see if the Tree Bank should be involved in that plan. She said that the fourth initiative was the Pride Award. She said she would like to get some public input on that and maybe in one of their newsletters they could announce that the Pride Award would be coming up, so they could get the public to give some input on that. She said that lastly, she knew they had talked about the possibility of doing topiaries in the roundabouts and maybe doing a competition with landscapers on that. She said that before she moved forward with that she needed to talk to the powers that be in those roundabouts whether it was the Town and the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to see any parameters the Commission would need to work within. She said they had talked about including landscapers. She said she thought that was one thing they would have to consider and make them feel comfortable with. She said she does not feel that it is an insurmountable hurdle. Ms. Sweet said those were the initiatives that she was going to start working on with the Committee members help. Ms. Gosnell said that was a very ambitious agenda. Ms. Monteiro said regarding the school puppet show most of the schools in Mount Pleasant have green teams and perhaps we could get them involved with projects. Ms. Harvey said that Ms. Tadlock wanted her to pass along that she was sorry that she could not be here today, but she anticipates sending some graphics and some signage ideas this weekend. Ms. Sweet asked if it was for the bees. Ms. Harvey answered in the affirmative. Ms. Gosnell said she went to the JC Raulston Arboretum and they had a take away document about pollinators that she would share with them. b. Town Hall Art Ms. Monteiro said they should be receiving submissions still. Ms. Harvey said they had not received any yet, but she had received phone calls from some people. She said knows the Mount Pleasant Artist Guild discussed it at their last meeting based on a phone conversation she had earlier, so she does expect to be receiving some submissions soon. Ms. Sweet told Ms. Monteiro that she received an email from Ms. DeeDee Conant who is the President of the Artist Guild and they have 12 artists that want to participate and wanted to know what to do next. She said that she and Ms. Monteiro could address that. Sculpture Ms. Harvey said that she met with the library’s facility manager at the Mount Pleasant Library. She said they were thinking about placement right next to the building or in an open green space next to Anna Knapp, and they both thought the green space by the parking lot was the best spot. She said that the only thing they have to figure out in order to put the base there was that the library has to get the water line and electric line plan because there may be some lines to work around. She said that the library is on board and very excited. Ms. Harvey said she expects some forward motion in the next couple weeks. Ms. Gosnell said if they put the sculpture next to the building obviously people would walk by and interact with it. She said with if out further toward the street, she asked if it would just get car traffic exposure. Ms. Monteiro said she wondered about that also because she had never considered it next to the building since they always talked about it being near the road. She said that next to the building is a large empty square with a little landscaping. Ms. Harvey said they are going to be doing some work on the building and they are putting the Chain there and do not necessarily want a lot of interaction with that sculpture with kids climbing and other things. She said it is a six-foot piece. She said she thought drive-by traffic would be good for that sculpture. Ms. Gosnell said she feels that sculpture is best observed being stationary. She said she did not think the goal should be to get more exposure because more people go by it as that is not the way to interact with sculpture. Ms. Harvey said that they can certainly revisit that. She said if Ms. Gosnell wanted to meet her over at the library sometime, they can look at the options they talked about. Ms. Harvey answered in the affirmative. Ms. McGahey asked if they had an update on the other site location. Ms. Harvey said that it had been approved to go to the Jones Center. Ms. McGahey asked if it had been installed. Ms. Harvey answered in the negative because she thought it would be best to have both sculpture base locations installed at the same time. d. Emerging Arts Ms. Gosnell said this topic is currently the oyster project. She said that Mr. Williams was not at that meeting. She said they were trying to come up with a name and the last conversation was Oyster Trail. Ms. Harvey said also Oysters on Parade was mentioned. Ms. Gosnell said that Ms. Monteiro came up with the best name ever of oysters being painted. Ms. Monteiro said Art on the Half Shell. Everyone liked that name. Ms. Harvey said that Ms. Whitley liked the name also. Ms. Gosnell said that Art on the Half Shell is ready to move forward. She knew Ms. Harvey went back through the budget and got the verified prices for shipping and they are ordering five oysters. She asked if the submission document was ready. Ms. Harvey said that it was still in process but will be ready very soon. She said the purchase order has been entered and the deposit check is being mailed to the manufacturing sculpture company. She said it will take them four to six weeks to get them created from the day they get the deposit check which should be next week. She said they are looking at installing them in two to three months. Ms. Harvey said that a couple of logistical things they had not really thought about was where were they going to be delivered. She said right now she has the delivery place being the Jones Center but does not know where she is going to put them. She asked where they anticipated the artists painting them. Ms. Gosnell said in their own studios. She said they are not so big that they would not fit in the back of a pickup truck or van. Ms. Harvey said they do not come boxed. Ms. Gosnell said they could bubble wrap them if they are not already and the artists pick them up and take them to their own spaces. Ms. Harvey said that was a question she needed to answer for the submission form. Ms. McGahey asked how do they determine where they are getting installed or placed. Ms. Gosnell said that the initial pilot program is going to get installed at the Memorial Waterfront Park and then they will expand it out to businesses with an invitation to support other pieces and those pieces will go to the business locations. She said at the point they could decide where they might disperse the park pieces if they want to move them. Ms. Harvey said there are a lot of other park options if they want to continue forward with some more public installations like Alhambra Hall and Pitt Street Bridge. She said there are endless possibilities. Mr. Williams apologized for missing that meeting. e. Traffic Box Art Ms. Harvey said that she was really excited but wondered how they are going to go through 107 entries from 42 artists with several of them being youth of various ages. Ms. McGahey asked if it was from a lead by a press release. Ms. Sweet said she remembered when they could only get a couple and did not have a lot of choices. Ms. Harvey said they probably recall they have budgeted to do five wraps and they have a donation from the developers of Indigo Square to do that intersection also. She said they will be selecting six. Ms. Gosnell asked if they are in random order. Ms. Harvey said they are in alphabetical order by the first name of the artist. Ms. Gosnell said because they have so many to go through, she said she would like to brainstorm a process with the committee briefly. She said what she would like for them to do was have Ms. Harvey scan through them and if someone says it was the best piece of art they had ever seen, they need to say, “gold star this submission” and then they can go back and review the gold stars. She asked if that was agreeable to everybody. The commission agreed. Ms. Gosnell said that if they gold star it then it is automatically in the second review. Ms. Harvey shared the photos. Ms. Gosnell said to gold star Bruce Boysen’s art. Ms. Sweet asked if anyone else like the two children with their arms around each other. Ms. Monteiro said she did but thought they went by quickly and asked to see them again. Ms. Gosnell said they may have to be careful with it on a traffic box so it does not look like a missing children poster. She asked if the one with the two girls would have one girl on one side and the other would wrap around to the other side. Ms. Harvey said that depending on the art they do it in different ways. She said for example that the Shrimp Boat at Bowman Road has each side the same. She said that the Egret at Dragoon is two sides, two sides. Ms. Monteiro asked if they could see how it would best work. Ms. Harvey said that they work with the sign company to determine layout on the box. Ms. Harvey shared photographs. Ms. Monteiro said she was afraid to say she liked something because she was afraid something may be around the corner. Ms. Harvey said they will go through them all again. The commissioners liked Ms. Holly Fisher’s daughter’s submission. Ms. Harvey said that for future rounds she thought they should put a limit on the number of submissions because they have a few people who submitted ten or so. Ms. Monteiro asked if any of the submissions are by people that currently already have a traffic box. Ms. Harvey said she did not believe so. She said she did note that some of the pictures are of canvas paintings. She said that the box at Dingle Road and Highway 41 was done by a School of the Arts sixth grader and one can see the canvas texture on the box and it looks good. She shared some photography submissions. Mr. Williams said that with the great water and marsh views in Mount Pleasant they should capitalize on them. Ms. McGahey liked one with a reflection of the clouds. She asked if that was the port. Ms. Harvey said on one she could not decide if it was Colonial Lake downtown or Ion. Ms. McGahey asked what the media was on a particular picture. Ms. Harvey said she did not know. Ms. Gosnell said it looked like a thick application and might be string under it. Ms. McGahey said she thought the warm oranges and reds will look good. Ms. Gosnell asked if they already have crabs on a wrap. Ms. Harvey said they have a Crab Trap at Park West. Ms. Gosnell asked if they had a pelican yet. Ms. Harvey answered in the negative. Ms. Monteiro said it was a good to point out what was already out there. Ms. Gosnell said they had basket weavers, azaleas, shrimp boat, turtles, crab net. Ms. Harvey said they have the harbor and the Ravenel Bridge done by Wando High School students, the old Grace bridge and the new Ravenel bridge. Ms. Gosnell said she thought they needed some birds. Ms. Monteiro said if they do not have birds that would be great. Ms. Gosnell asked about a particular one. Ms. Harvey said it was at Carolina Park by Wando High School. She also shared pictures of the one at Houston Northcutt, the Isle of Palms box, Longpoint, Oakland Market, Six Mile, at the Horse Mosaic at Venning and the old bridge at Winnowing Way. Ms. Gosnell said they have plenty of bridges and crabs. Ms. Sweet liked the pink one by Virginia Bond. Ms. McGahey said they may need to find a bird. Ms. Sweet said she really like it but wondered how it would work on a box. Ms. Monteiro said that was also her thought. Ms. Harvey continued the second review with Bruce Boysen’s art. Ms. Sweet asked how the little boy with the palmetto rose would do. Ms. Gosnell said she wondered if they took the sisters and put them on two panels and do the other portraits as single panels. Ms. Sweet asked if it would be the same price if they do different images. Ms. Harvey said she thought so because they just lay it out and then produce the wrap. She said that the sign company puts it all together. She said she would have to ask. She said that with the donation from Johnson Development he gave them a buffer. She said they donated $1,500 and the cost of each box is approximately $1,100, and they indicated that the extra money could help defray the cost of other boxes. Ms. Gosnell said that would be great. Ms. Harvey asked if they had decided to do Bob Graham’s with the one little boy on each side and the two little girls on the other two sides. Ms. Monteiro affirmed and said the boy with the flowers and a close- up of the other boy. Ms. Harvey said the other ones they had indicated were Muzon Cheeks and Vanessa Grebe’s pink birds image. Ms. Gosnell asked if there was anything in her portfolio that they could do the same with. She said that the birds would do a two-side wrap and there might be something. Ms. Harvey said she only submitted one item. Ms. Monteiro asked if she was talking about Ms. Grebe. Ms. Monteiro said that it had four birds on it and she was thinking they could wrap it around with almost one bird per side. She said it would not be perfect. Ms. Harvey said they could do two sides and duplicate the other two sides. Ms. Monteiro said that would be eight birds and that was a lot of birds. Ms. Harvey said they had also put Ms. Virginia Bond’s pink lighthouses in the second review, which made five and they had one more to pick. Ms. Gosnell said she liked the Jellyfish. Ms. Monteiro asked about the one that was clearly a child’s. She said it was the daughter of someone. Ms. Harvey said it was the daughter of Ms. Holly Fisher. She shared the picture again. Ms. Gosnell said that would looks good as a two panel/two panel. Ms. Monteiro said on the end of they would have the fish on one and turtles and then fish and turtles. Ms. Sweet said she loved that. Ms. Harvey moved all the ones they are seriously considering to the top. Ms. Gosnell asked if the Jellyfish artist submitted anything else. Ms. Harvey said the Crab, Pelican, and the Jellyfish are all from Chelle Fazal. Ms. Gosnell asked could they do Jellyfish on two sides and Pelican on two sides. Ms. Sweet said it was a whole new thing for them to do multiple pieces on one box. Ms. Gosnell said some of these would make great murals. Ms. Sweet said that they received a lot of good ones this time. Ms. Harvey said it was going to be a lot easier to tell people that out of 107 entries theirs was not one of the six. Ms. Gosnell said she liked the sailboat. Ms. Harvey said it was very similar to the swirlies near the old Walmart. Ms. Gosnell said it does feel like they have already done that. Ms. Harvey said it was a different artist and this would be another one that they could do multiples on the sides. Ms. Monteiro asked Ms. Harvey to scan back to the graphic pictures. Ms. Gosnell said that on a box she thought it would look great, but it does not say Mount Pleasant. Ms. Monteiro said that she was trying to figure out what it was. Ms. McGahey said it was different. Ms. Sweet said they already had shrimp boats. Ms. Monteiro said they were all beautiful though. Ms. McGahey said that the cloud reflection was one of the still shots. Ms. Gosnell said she thought the one shot was from the neighborhood dock in Hidden Cove. Ms. Harvey asked if they wanted to move the cloud one up. Ms. McGahey said she thought if they want to have a photography selection then that would be her pick out of all the photography ones. She said she was not sure if she liked the idea of photography on a traffic box because it might just disappear and not stand out as much as art if it blends in with the surroundings. She said maybe if they had something in black and white. Ms. Harvey said that when they reply to everyone with the results she will encourage them to submit to the Town Hall Art as there are so many good ones. Ms. Gosnell said she would love if they could print them all as massive canvases and start attaching them to buildings. Ms. Monteiro said the pop art style was really cool with the colors. Ms. Sweet said she did not think white backgrounds would work real well. Ms. Harvey shared again the ones they had moved up so far. Ms. Gosnell said they could do the Pelican on one side with Jellyfish on the other or they could do the Jellyfish on one side and the kid picture on the other. Ms. Harvey asked if they would want to put two artists on one box. Ms. Monteiro said she liked the kid’s art because it was nice to be able to include children’s art when it works. Ms. Gosnell said they could do that one as a two and two. Ms. Monteiro said the landscape art would be beautiful for Town Hall Art. The commissioners agreed. Ms. Gosnell said she wondered if it was between that one and the Pelican and the Jellyfish or the next one. Ms. Sweet said she liked the Pelican and the Jellyfish over the landscape one. Ms. Monteiro said it does kind of feel like trees and has a certain mood to it. Ms. Harvey said that was done by a landscape architect. Ms. Gosnell said the trees, Jellyfish and Pelican, or Lighthouse. Ms. Sweet said she liked it, but it does not say Mount Pleasant to her. Ms. Gosnell said she thought it would look great on a box. Ms. Harvey asked if they were debating the Pelican and the Jellyfish. Ms. Gosnell said they are going to pick two out of the three options currently being reviewed. Ms. Monteiro said she does agree that it was not as “Mount Pleasant”, but she likes the abstract nature of it. She said staying on a Mount Pleasant theme makes more sense for that. She said they could ask them to submit for Town Hall Art. Ms. Gosnell said they should put it into a vote. Option A is one, two, three. Option B is two, three, four. Ms. Harvey said Option A was Bruce Boysen and the double Chelle Fazal. Ms. Gosnell said that Option B is two, three, four. Ms. Harvey said that would be Chelle Fazal and the Virginia Bond lighthouse. Ms. Gosnell asked all in favor of one, two, three say aye. No one answered. Ms. Gosnell asked all in favor of two, three, four say aye. All answered in the affirmative. Ms. Gosnell said that the decision had been made. Ms. Harvey confirmed that they had selected the Pelican and the Jellyfish by Chelle Fazal and the pink Lighthouse by Virginia Bond. Ms. Gosnell asked if the sign company will help determine whether to do that as a double wrap or a quad wrap. Ms. Harvey asked if she was asking about Virginia Bond’s submission. Ms. Gosnell said that one and two were a double wrap and number four is whatever the sign company says. Ms. Harvey said Chelle Fazal’s Pelican and Jellyfish was one. She said another is Bob Graham with the combination of his art work that they had discussed. She said three was Muzon Cheeks. Ms. Gosnell said she thought that should be a quad wrap for a four panel look. Ms. Harvey said that would be one on each one. Ms. Gosnell said it would be four singles. Ms. Harvey confirmed once again that the final selections were Chelle Fazal for one, Virginia Bond’s pink Lighthouse for two, Muzon Cheeks is number three, number four is Vanessa Grebe, number five is the Bob Graham combination, and number six was Kate Fisher. Ms. Harvey asked if they should make a motion. Ms. Gosnell answered in the negative. f. Paint the Town Ms. Gosnell said they have run into a challenge in getting public spaces committed for this so Ms. Sweet is going to meet with Mr. Ed Riggs and ask him if the Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee (ATAC) grant can be used in a private/public partnership where the grant money would go to pay for the artist execution on donated space from businesses. She said if that was the case then she will set up a two-day effort on the part of the Committee where they all go out and divide up the Town and go door to door following a press release and news article in the Moultrie News and try to get businesses to sign on to participate. She said they will do that regardless of whether the ATAC-funded portion of the program is driven that way or not as they will still want to encourage our role in facilitating business-artist relationships and participation. She said she was recommending that the first line of offense on that was to change the profile of the grant money. Ms. Monteiro said it occurred to her that when they are talking to businesses about Paint the Town that we should also let them know about CAP’s other initiatives. She said a mural may not be something that they like but they may be open to an oyster or something else that may be a good fit for them. Ms. Gosnell said that the pitch page that they have from the last meeting has all that on there. She said that would be the document they would walk in with along with a letter of agreement and frequently asked questions that reflects the information that came out of Ms. McGahey’s first encounter. Ms. Harvey said she had put together a draft FAQ and will email it. Ms. Gosnell said they will do a two-day blitz with those documents as soon as they get an answer from Mr. Riggs. g. It’s Raining Art! Ms. Gosnell said they could see all of the poems that day. Ms. Harvey said there were 14 student poems installed. She said they are on the Towne Centre Facebook page. She said there is a contest going on now and they can vote, and the top three vote getters will get $100 from the Commission and $100 gift cards from Towne Centre who so generously contributed to the installation as well. She thanked Ms. Monteiro in helping to get this project completed. Ms. Gosnell said that it would be fun on the next rainy day to call the television stations in Mount Pleasant for coverage and make it a weather icon. Ms. Harvey said she felt they could probably get Mr. Rob Fowler to do that. h. Marketing Ms. Gosnell said they had a great Marketing subcommittee meeting a few weeks ago and made some breakthroughs. Ms. Harvey said that was pending approval. Ms. McGahey said they decided as a subcommittee that they would reach more people and get more traffic by focusing more on social media for targeting the two groups that they have identified. She said one sector they want to target is for artist submissions for sculpture, Paint the Town, and It’s Raining Art! She said that the other group is the arts community as a whole and Mount Pleasant residents interested in cultural and arts topics. She said they came up with their tool kit in parts to be Instagram, Facebook, and press releases. She said that through those they would create links for the two groups that they are marketing to directly get all the information that they need and be able to submit their art. She said they felt that way would be a higher traffic method. She said they have reached out to ask that Culture, Arts & Pride (CAP) have their own Facebook administered by CAP and it would be called Mount Pleasant Art Everywhere so it would be a more community-based outreach and resource for art of all kinds everywhere in Mount Pleasant. She said she thought that the Instagram would be named the same thing. She said within those they would have links for people to gain access and information. She said they have two approvals and are waiting on two more. Ms. Harvey said the next approval staff member had been out until the present day. She said that the next approval level was out of the office until tomorrow. Ms. Gosnell said that for clarification the page is designed for any art gallery who is having an opening to post or any artist who has new work that they want to share. She said if they could make it a place where everyone shares content about art opportunities then they would also post when they have submissions open for a certain thing with a link directly to the page within the Town’s website it becomes the way they engage everyone in the community around art. She was it was smart and exactly where they want the art component of CAP to go. She said that one thing that concerns her was that CAP is C, A, and P, and she is concerned they are kind of losing sight of the C and P with this. She asked where they are going to bring up the Pride component with the Tree Grant and the Pollinator program if it was going to be all about the arts. Ms. Gosnell said if it was a successful model they would follow this model for other things. Ms. Sweet said perhaps a Green Mount P page. Ms. Harvey said that one thing that is a concern is post frequency and said she thought it would be easily addressed since they all will be contributing and administering the pages. She said that the Town was reluctant to create accounts that may become dormant. She said she does not see that with this one or a new one but is something to keep in mind. She said everyone has to make a point to post relevant information and encourage community participation. Ms. Sweet said they could put their own parameters on it whether it was monthly or bi-weekly. Ms. Harvey said five or six posts a week is preferred. Ms. Monteiro said they could set times for posts. Ms. McGahey said she thought they had discussed that they could post information that they were putting on the newsletter every month and be incorporated in. Ms. Harvey said that was correct. Ms. McGahey said they were not doing away with newsletter content. She said it was a lot of effort involving a lot of people and it might not reach the numbers that they were looking for. Ms. Gosnell said if the Town was offering art classes through the Recreation Department or anything like that then this would be another place to share the information. She said every time they get the submissions they should invite those people to that page, so they keep building. Ms. Harvey said that if the commissioners had any post content that falls into the “P” or “C” elements, to please send those to her as the Communications Office will share them on the Town page, which has the greatest number of followers. She said when they want to reach the whole community about bees or pollinators then the Town page would be the best outlet. Ms. McGahey said she forgot to say that they were planning to link posts to the Town. Ms. Monteiro said they are going to have to use the Town page to drive people to this page. Ms. Harvey said they want to cross post. She said when they post something that is good for the Town page such as a submission request, they will put in on the Commission page and then email Mr. Coaxum and/or Ms. Lane to ask for it to be shared on the Town and MPRD pages when appropriate. Ms. Gosnell said that regarding press releases they are going to send out one about the Oyster submissions probably the end of November. Ms. Harvey said November at the latest. Ms. Gosnell said for them to do it early November before the meeting. She said a press release about Art on the Half Shell and then as soon as they get an answer from Mr. Riggs they will do a press release about the mural program and set their two-day blitz up and get that coordinated with the Moultrie News. Ms. Gosnell said they will put Mr. Williams page on the press release list. Mr. Williams said he will share posts on his page and give a link to where to read the stories. Ms. Gosnell asked Ms. Monteiro when the next submission was for It’s Raining Art! Ms. Monteiro said she thought it was at the beginning of the year. Ms. Monteiro said they have Fall Fest coming up on October 27. Ms. Harvey said that the winners of the poetry contest will be announced on October 27 at Fall Fest. She said they had invited the Mayor and will have someone from Council there. Ms. Gosnell asked Ms. Harvey to organize a Marketing meeting with she and Ms. McGahey to nail down the press release pockets and schedules for release sometime next week. Ms. Harvey asked if it could be after Children’s Day. Ms. Gosnell answered in the affirmative. Ms. Harvey said after Children’s Day she will be writing a job description and hiring a part time person to help. She said one of the primary focuses will be supporting this effort. Ms. McGahey said she thought Ms. Tadlock was going to work on a graphic or a logo. Ms. Gosnell said she was going to work on a Green Mount P logo and a pollinator’s logo. She said they had discussed a logo design for CAP but decided to keep the Town of Mount Pleasant as the logo. Ms. Monteiro said she thought about using something to use as the Facebook page cover for the new page. Ms. McGahey said that was what it was. New Business Ms. Gosnell said that Ms. Stephanie Meadows had been a member of the Commission for quite some time and her work schedule has become too conflictual with her ability to attend the meetings. She said they had asked her to make a decision about her commitment and her role. Ms. Gosnell said she is probably going to have to step down. She said she wanted them to think about if that position opens up what they are missing on the Committee. She said in her mind having someone who was a member of the Artist Guild was always helpful to them in the past and does not know if that remains equally as insightful as it was before. She thought it was often good to have someone who is connected to an active artist group. She said she will check on that and see if she can find someone who is active in the Artist Guild who might be interested if Ms. Meadows resigns. Ms. Harvey shared the logo and Culture, Arts and Pride Commission in the middle of all the poems at Towne Centre. Ms. Gosnell thanked Ms. Monteiro and Ms. Harvey for getting the It’s Raining Art! installed. She said they really appreciate it. She said they will have a Marketing meeting related to press releases and will get an answer about the ATAC mural funds and they will set up their blitz date and hopefully have it all rolling by the time they are meeting again in November. Ms. Sweet said that if anyone wanted to join the Green Mount P Committee to let her know because Ms. Meadows was the only other person on it. 5.
