TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA COMMERCIAL DESIGN REVIEW BOARD MAY 26, 2021 MINUTES STAFF REPORT Present: Rick Lambert, Chair, Steve Magoon, Chris McCarthy, Ian Duncan. Absent: Tara Spencer, William O'Neal. Staff: Brittany Johnson, Peter Stone, Lynnette Lynes Mr. Lambert called the meeting to order at 5:03 pm and reviewed the procedures with the public. A. Approval of Agenda Mr. McCarthy moved for approval of the agenda. Mr. Magoon seconded the motion. All in favor. B. Approval of Minutes Mr. Magoon moved for approval of the minutes. Mr. McCarthy seconded the motion. All in favor. C. General Public Comment There being no comments, Mr. Lambert continued with the agenda. D. General Correspondence No additional correspondence was received. general correspondence. E. Consent Motions There were no consent motions. F. Business 1. 7-Eleven, 512 Johnnie Dodds, 514-00-00-070, Preliminary Approval of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Stone and Ms. Johnson reviewed staff comments with the Board.  Design Review Board May 26, 2021 Page 2 of 2 Mr. Losse Knight, Richard Bailey, Preston Ackerman, and Pat Budronis reviewed the request with the Board. There being no comments, Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Mr. Duncan moved for approval including staff comments. Mr. Magoon seconded the motion. All in favor. 2. 3563 N Highway17 Restaurant, 3563 N Highway 17, 614-00-00-010, Final Approval of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Stone and Ms. Johnson reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. Paul Peoples and Mr. Eric Meckley reviewed the request with the Board. There being no comments, Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Mr. McCarthy moved for approval. Mr. Duncan seconded the motion. All in favor. 3. Long Point Office, 765 Long Point, 556-00-00-428, Preliminary Approval of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Stone and Ms. Johnson reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. Eric Ladson and Mr. Wentz Chesson reviewed the request with the Board. There being no comments, Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Mr. Duncan moved for approval with the condition of incorporating all staff comments and the project being reviewed by a subcommittee. Mr. Lambert seconded the motion. All in favor.
