Ms. Whitley called the meeting to order at 2:40 pm.
1. Approval of Minutes from the November 1, 2021 meeting
Mr. Chapman moved for approval of the minutes. Ms. Hyatt seconded the
motion.
Mr. Chapman moved to amend the motion to include the following correction:
➢ Item 3a, bottom paragraph—should be Ms. Corley.
Ms. Hyatt seconded the motion. All in favor.
Ms. Whitley called for a vote on the amended motion. All in favor.
2. Public Comments
There being no public comments, Ms. Whitley continued with the agenda.
3. Discussion of Commercial Design Review Standards to be maintained from
repealing the Boulevard Overlay District
Ms. Reed reviewed the request with the Committee.
The Committee agreed that the reviewed items should be included in the design
standards.

4. Update on status of Town of Mount Pleasant’s Revised Zoning Code and Land
Development Regulations
Ms. Reed reviewed the request with the Committee. Ms. Cousino reviewed
the annotated outline on how the rewrite would be accomplished.
The Committee received this as information.
5. Discussion and possible action related to amendments to the Town’s parking
requirements (Draft Ordinance)
Mr. Pagliarini reviewed the request with the Committee.
Ms. Hyatt moved to send the draft amendment to the Planning Commission
for a public hearing with the change of deleting the second sentence and keeping
only the first sentence under item C to state that they shall not charge for parking.
Ms. Corley seconded the motion. All in favor.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 3:37 pm.
