The village of Mount Pleasant gives notice that the Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday,
April 22, 2026, during the agenda of the Board of Appeals that starts at 5:30 PM. The meeting will take place at
Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, WI 53406. The hearing's purpose is to hear all interested parties
regarding the applications to provide relief from unnecessary hardships resulting from strict application of zoning
chapter requirements per Division 90-560: Zoning Variances and using procedures outlined therein. Following the
close of the hearing, the Zoning Board of Appeals must make findings of fact and act to approve the requested
zoning variance, approve the variance with modifications and/or conditions, refer the zoning variance request
back to staff or deny the zoning variance request based on the review criteria and standards of § 90-560.80.
Zoning Variance ZVA-26-2 for 3610 Warren Ct
TAX PARCEL # 151-03-23-30-384-000
The applicant applied to seek relief from § 90-110.90(c), which states that the interior side (minimum; feet)
setback for buildings in the RE zoning district is sixteen feet. The applicant wishes to construct an additional
bathroom for the home on the property six feet from the east property line and requests a variance from the
zoning code due to the unique physical constraints of the property, as the home is on a parcel sized peninsula in
a small lake.
The public may view the public hearing maps and items by request or at the Village Hall. Those with disabilities
who need assistance to participate in this meeting should request it from the Clerk’s Office at (262) 664-7800 with
as much notice as possible.
