PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE April 27, 2026 6:00 PM Village Hall, Ebe Auditorium 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, WI 53406 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT | 262-664-7800 | planning@mtpleasantwi.gov The Village of Mount Pleasant gives notice that the Village Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 27, 2026, during their meeting scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM. The meeting will occur at Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, WI 53406. The purpose of the hearing is to consider changes to the district boundaries or amendments or supplements to the regulations established by the Village or amendments thereto under § SECTION 90-10.100 ZONING MAP and using procedures outlined in 90-520 ARTICLE 90-520 TEXT AMENDMENTS, ARTICLE 90-535 ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS, or ARTICLE 90-550 CONDITIONAL USES of the Village Code of Ordinances. The Village Board may add conditions or adjust the requested zone to something similar or lesser intensity for any application considered. ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS Ordinance 2-2026: 3649 Lathrop Ave Zoning Map Amendment; ZMA-26-01 TAX PARCEL(S) 151032330363000 The applicant applied to amend the zoning map for the property from RE (Residential Estate) to RL (Low-Density Residential). The applicant wishes to construct a 400 square foot outbuilding on the property, which will increase the impervious surface percentage of the property from approximately 33% to 35%. The limit on impervious surface in the RE district is 25%. This limit was added to the code recently, so the existing structures are legal non- conforming. The limit in the RL zone is 50%. The Master Plan indicates residential for the property and the nearby parcels are both RE and RL zoning. The public may view the public hearing maps and items by request or at the Village Hall.
