PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE June 29, 2026 Village Hall, Ebe Auditorium 8811 Campus Drive, Mount Pleasant, WI 53406 The Village of Mount Pleasant gives notices that the Village Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 29, 2026, during the Village Board Meeting which starts at the end of a meeting of the Committee of the Whole, but not before 6:00 PM. The hearing’s purpose is to consider a proposed amendment to transportation element of the Multi- Jurisdictional Comprehensive Plan for Racine County: 2035 pursuant to SECTION 66.1001 OF THE WISCONSIN STATUTES. The applicant wishes to reconfigure the roadways to match their future Preliminary Plat. Furthermore, the comprehensive plan update will delete connections no longer feasible and incorporate the Village's Braun Rd Reconstruction project with a roundabout at Braun and Oakes Rd. The village staff added additional, neighboring amendments to this application to remove some of the neighboring proposed roadways to reflect their final location. The purpose of the hearing is to consider changes to the district boundaries or amendments or supplements to the regulations established by the Village or amendments thereto under § SECTION 90-10.100 ZONING MAP and using procedures outlined in 90-520 ARTICLE 90-520 TEXT AMENDMENTS, ARTICLE 90-535 ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS, or ARTICLE 90-550 CONDITIONAL USES of the Village Code of Ordinances. The Village Board may add conditions, separate the parcels under consideration, or adjust the requested zone to something similar or lesser intensity for any application considered. The applicant is concurrently applying for a 22 lot subdivision with SPP26-001 and a comprehensive plan update CPA-26-001. All three approvals are conditional upon each other. ORDINANCE 06-2026: ZMA-26-03; Gittings Rd and Hoods Creek Path Zoning Map Amendment TAX PARCEL(S) 151032203040000 (1 25 acre parcel west of Hoods Creek Path) The applicant applied to amend the zoning map for the property from AG-2 (General Agriculture) to RL (Low- Density Residential). The applicant is concurrently applying for a subdivision plat, SPP26-002, which will add 17 lots as Phase 6 of Hoods Creek subdivision. Both approvals are conditional upon each other.
